In March 2007 the first shelter for homeless animals was founded in Izhevsk city, Russia.
Many animals were rescued from poisoning, shooting and cruelty.
Currently the shelter has 8 rows of aviaries for dogs, two warm rooms for cats, veterinary corps, a new cook room, walking areas for dogs and cats.
Under construction there is another walking area for dogs.
Thanks to the real support of Friends, the Shelter is growing and developing.
All of the money will be used for settlement of debts, treatment, surgery andpayment of nursing hospitals,
as well as for alimentation and improving ofanimals living conditions.
Statistics:
In period from 2008 to 2009, 329 dogs and 115 cats found their new owners.
In period from 2009 to 2010, 923 dogs and 656 cats found their new owners.
During the 2.5 years we have helped more than 2,000 animals!
Together we can make this world a better place!
